Northwest: 4.0

Waves have dropped but are still hazardous. Kapalua Bay has the smallest waves, though they’re washing high onshore, with strong currents near the point. The innermost area of Honolua Bay is fairly calm for now, but occasional bigger waves are rolling in, and it’s rough near the point. Hazy sunshine with a chance of isolated showers. Stay aware, as conditions can change quickly.

Ka’anapali: 7.0

Conditions are looking good this morning, with some elevated waves on the shoreline to be cautious of and avoid. Kahekili Beach Park and the south face of Black Rock are both looking nice. As always, currents are very strong near the point and in deeper water. Increasing south winds may make things a bit bumpy this afternoon, with hazy sunshine expected..

South Shore: 6.5

Light winds are expected, though the water could still get bumpy this afternoon. Waves are up a bit, stirring up sand and affecting visibility. The smallest waves are along the Kamaole Beaches, Ulua Beach, and Makena Landing, but occasional larger waves are possible. Conditions can shift, so keep an eye on things as you go. Hazy sunshine throughout the day.
