    We get you #TURTLEREADY

Aloha Friday vibes hitting different on Maui 🌺🌴

That end-of-week island energy when the ocean breeze feels a little sweeter and pau hana never sounded so good.

Here’s to slowing down, soaking it all in, and remembering why we’re lucky to call this place home.

Happy Aloha Friday, Maui 🤙✨
Happy Aloha Friday! A new, large, long-period nort Happy Aloha Friday! A new, large, long-period northwest swell is expected to overlap the current swell and fill in this morning. As the day goes on, surf will become larger and more hazardous. Afternoon rain is expected to move in as well. Getting out early today will offer the best chance for optimal conditions. Check the snapshots below for more details.

Northwest: 5.0

Honolua Bay has improved slightly, but elevated surf and strong winds are still present today. Kapalua Bay is more sheltered, though small waves remain. Always check ocean conditions carefully before entering the water. Napili Bay is calm and inviting this morning but surf from a northwest swell is expected to build later today. Use caution if you plan to visit any of these beaches.

Ka’anapali: 6.5

Kahekili Beach Park and Black Rock will offer good conditions this morning. Winds and surf are expected to increase later, leading to rougher and more hazardous conditions in the afternoon. Black Rock should remain well protected from the wind throughout the day. Be cautious of strong currents in deeper water and beyond the point. With afternoon rain in the forecast, the morning will be the best time to hit the beach!

South Shore: 3.0

The South Shore will see a mix of sunshine, passing rain, and light winds today. Waves continue to break along much of the coastline. Surf is lowest early at the Kamaole beaches, though snorkeling conditions remain less than ideal. Makena and Wailea are seeing the strongest waves. A new swell is expected to arrive later today and into tomorrow, bringing increasing surf.
