Northwest: 7.5

Tropical showers may pass through. Napili is seeing the most wave action in the zone, while Kapalua Bay has some surf as well. Currents remain strong near the points. D.T. Fleming Beach Park is calm this morning and a great place to play in the ocean. Honolua Bay is calm with clear visibility. It will likely be busy, so please tread lightly, be mindful of others, and mālama ʻāina.

Ka’anapali: 6.0

Surf has eased a bit, leading to improved conditions overall, but the south swell is still affecting the zone. Black Rock has some sizable shoreline waves, so use caution when entering and exiting the water. Kahekili Beach is looking good this morning, though occasional waves are still rolling through. Currents remain strong in deeper water, so avoid venturing too far offshore. Expect a sunny day, with trade winds picking up again later this afternoon.

South Shore: 5.5

Kamaole Beaches 1 and 2 and Ulua Beach look great and have the calmest conditions this morning. Further south, in Makena Landing and Wailea elevated surf is causing strong shore break and choppy water, making ocean entry and exit challenging. We’ll see plenty of sunshine today making for a wonderful day at the beach.
