It’s a gorgeous morning on Maui, with fantastic conditions across all three zones! While the winds have eased in some areas, they may pick up again later this afternoon. There’s also a chance of scattered clouds and showers as the day goes on.
Kapalua Bay and Honolua Bay are calm and clear this morning, but afternoon winds are possible. Currents can become strong near the points and outside the bays, so it’s best to stay within the calm, protected areas. Napili Bay also looks good this morning. We could see some cloud cover and scattered showers later in the day.
*Honolua Bay temporarily has no restroom facilities. Do not leave waste in this area.
Ka’anapali: 9.0
Kahekili Beach Park and Black Rock are looking fantastic this morning, with light winds and calm, clear water. Be cautious of strong currents in deeper areas and avoid going past the point. Conditions may become choppier if the wind shifts, and there’s a chance of clouds and scattered showers later this afternoon.
South Shore: 8.0
It’s a beautiful start to the day with sunshine, light winds, and excellent conditions. Small shoreline waves are present but easy to navigate, so use caution when entering and exiting the water. Kamaole I, II, and III, Ulua Beach, Wailea Beach, and Makena Landing all look great this morning. Winds may pick up in the afternoon, possibly leading to choppier water, along with some clouds and scattered showers.
