Great snorkeling conditions can be found in all three zones this morning. Conditions may shift as the day goes on, so be sure to check the snapshots below for the latest updates.

Northwest: 9.0

Kapalua Bay and Honolua Bay are calm and clear this morning with good visibility. Be aware that currents become extremely strong near the outer points. Surf may pick up, so always assess conditions before entering the water. Clouds and scattered showers are also possible later.

*Honolua Bay temporarily has no restroom facilities. Do not leave waste in this area.

Ka’anapali: 9.0

Kahekili Beach Park has excellent snorkeling this morning with calm, clear water. The south face of Black Rock is also looking good, though currents are already strong near and beyond the point. Waves may rise through the day, so keep an eye on changing conditions. Mostly sunny skies now, with increasing clouds, possible showers, and stronger winds expected this afternoon.

South Shore: 8.0

Ocean conditions are really nice this morning, especially at the Kamaole Beaches, which are calm and inviting. Waves are already picking up in Wailea and Makena, and both wind and surf are expected to increase throughout the day. If you avoid the waves, it’s still a good time to head out early, as conditions will likely become too rough later. Skies are mostly sunny now, with clouds and a chance of showers possible this afternoon.
