Honolua Bay has free parking, beach access and portable restrooms.
Best Option: Free Parking at The Trailhead
—> Located 7 miles north of Ka’anapali on Highway 30
- Starting on Highway 30, head north and look for Mile Marker 31
- Just past Mile Marker 31 the road winds toward a one-lane bridge
- Immediately beyond the 1-lane bridge, look for the dirt parking lot on the left
- Park, then walk the 1/4 mile trail through the trees to Honolua Bay

Option 2: Free Street Parking
- If the dirt parking lot is full, park on the street, south of the bridge
- Proceed carefully while parking along the highway
- Walk safely along the road to the trailhead

- Be mindful of the rocky shoreline. Water shoes are recommended
- Honolua Bay is a protected marine reserve with some of the best snorkeling in Maui
