An amazing beach day on Maui with sunshine and light winds in Ka'anapali and the South Shore. The Northwest has stronger winds. Snorkeling conditions are excellent in many spots, though waves are starting to pick up out of the south.

Northwest: 7.5

Honolua Bay is the calmest, with Kapalua Bay also looking really nice though it does have some small surging waves. Both bays should stay good throughout the day. Napili Bay is beginning to see waves, which may increase later. Strong winds and passing clouds are expected.

Ka’anapali: 8.5

Kahekili Beach Park should have really nice conditions through most of the day, though it could get breezy later. The south face of Black Rock is also good this morning. There are surging shoreline waves to thoughtfully avoid. Surf may grow a bit as the day goes on. Currents are very strong out near the point. Sunshine with some clouds.

South Shore: 8.0

An incredibly beautiful beach day with sunshine and light winds. The Kamaole Beaches, Ulua beach, and Wailea beach are especially calm and clear this morning. Waves are starting to rise in Makena and may affect more of the zone later. Winds may stay light for most of the day, though it could get rough if the breeze increases.
