Happy Turtle Tuesday 🐢

We are so lucky to have the opportunity to get to share the ocean with these incredible creatures. Snorkeling with turtles on Maui is a life-changing experience and we want to make sure that when we share their home, we stay 6 to 10 feet away and never touch the turtles.

Turtle Ready means having a great time while also respecting wildlife!

Maui is starting the day with beautiful beach and ocean conditions. A storm system is approaching the islands, and weather is expected to deteriorate later this week with heavy rain and strong winds possible beginning tomorrow. While there is still a chance Maui avoids the worst of it, significant weather is becoming more likely. As always, conditions can change through the day.

Northwest: 8.0

Conditions are very calm inside of Kapalua Bay and Honolua Bay early. Small waves and light winds are creating great snorkeling conditions. As usual, currents become strong near the points and outside of the bays. Clouds may begin to increase later and it may become rough as southerly winds develop.

Ka'anapali: 8.5

Mostly calm and clear this morning with some small waves. Kahekili Beach is looking incredible, and the south face of Black Rock is also very nice with the usual strong currents near the point. Southerly winds later could create a little surface bump, and there is a slight chance waves and clouds increase later today.

South Shore: 7.5

Light winds and sunshine are creating a beautiful beach day. A small south swell is bringing some surf, though waves remain manageable at most spots. The Kamaole Beaches and Ulua Beach are looking great early, while Makena Landing has more noticeable waves. Keep an eye out when entering and exiting the water. Southerly winds later could make conditions a bit rough.
