One of the most amazing things about snorkeling on Maui is our marine conservation districts like Honolua Bay, where ocean life simply gets to be. No fishing is allowed and we get to see ecosystems thrive!

Maui Wowie conditions this morning with small waves and light winds across all three snorkel zones. There’s still a chance the surf picks up later, which could make seas rougher. Expect a mix of sunshine and clouds throughout the day. Come see us, we’ll get you turtle ready and headed to your favorite beach. And please remember, never touch the turtles.

Northwest: 8.5

Ocean conditions are calm and clear inside the bays. Kapalua Bay is particularly calm, and Honolua is looking excellent this morning. Currents become very strong near the points, avoid swimming out too far. Waves may start to pick up later this afternoon. Clouds at times. Please be extra mindful and help us keep these areas clean.

Ka'anapali: 9.5

Absolutely gorgeous conditions this morning with small waves and light winds at Kahekili Beach and the south face of Black Rock. Currents remain strong near and beyond the point and in deeper water. There’s a chance waves increase later. A mix of sun and passing clouds.

South Shore: 9.0

Incredibly beautiful conditions this morning with mostly small waves. Kamaole 1, 2, and 3, Ulua Beach, Wailea Beach, and Makena Landing are all looking calm early. Waves could pick up later, always keep an eye out for changes. Expect sunshine with some clouds moving through.
