Northwest: 7.0

Honolua Bay looks calm and clear, but there are still patches of brown murky water near the stream you’ll want to avoid. Winds will pick up this afternoon and could make things choppy. Kapalua Bay is also looking very nice, with only small waves. Currents are very strong near the points so be mindful not to swim too far out. We’ll see mostly sunny skies today, making for an excellent beach day. Please tread lightly and mālama ʻāina in this special place.

Ka’anapali: 5.5

Black Rock remains rough, with occasional strong waves rolling in and creating poor visibility. Conditions need more time to improve, and increasing winds later today could make the ocean even rougher. Kahekili Beach will be the calmest this morning, but there are still some waves to watch for, and conditions may worsen later in the day as afternoon winds pick up. Plenty of sunshine is in the forecast today, so enjoy a day at the beach!

South Shore: 3.5

Kamaole Beaches 1 and 2 have the calmest conditions this morning, with the smallest waves, although the ocean is still looking choppy. Farther south, elevated surf is creating stronger shore break, choppy water, and poor visibility from Ulua Beach down through the Wailea beaches. It’s best to avoid the more southern beaches today until conditions improve. Expect mostly sunny skies with a few passing clouds throughout the day.
