Beautiful Maui beach day! A mix of sun and clouds Beautiful Maui beach day! A mix of sun and clouds today. Waves have picked up in some areas as a south swell fills in, though not every beach is affected the same. There are also patchy areas of murky water that may shift throughout the day, always take a look before getting in and avoid any murky water. Conditions can change, and there’s still a slight chance of scattered showers.

Northwest: 7.0

A mix of clouds and sunshine with light winds. Kapalua Bay is looking pretty calm, though some waves are starting to spill into the bay and may increase later. Currents are strong near points. Honolua is calm overall, with a small patch of murky water possible near the stream, so it’s best to check from the overlook before heading down. Napili is seeing more wave action and stronger currents.

Ka'anapali: 6.5

A beautiful beach day with mostly sunny skies and light winds. Surf has picked up and may continue to build through the day. Kahekili is the calmest, with some small surging waves to watch for. Black Rock is more exposed, with higher surf and strong currents, especially near and beyond the point. Conditions may become a bit rougher this afternoon.

South Shore: 6.0

A gorgeous beach day with light winds and mostly sunny skies. Surf has picked back up and will increase through the day. The smallest waves are along the Kamaole Beaches, though waves are still breaking. Conditions become more hazardous in Wailea down through Makena, where the largest waves are expected. Patchy murky water may shift throughout the day.
