Northwest: 6.0

Very strong winds and some cloud cover this morning. Honolua Bay is looking calm, with the stream gently flowing. Scattered showers are possible and could cause murky water if the stream picks up. Please mālama ʻāina in this especially fragile area. Kapalua Bay is also calm, with small surging waves expected to grow as the tide rises. Currents become very strong near the points. Napili has hazardous waves and currents.

Ka'anapali: 3.5

The south swell is bringing hazardous waves in areas, and surf will continue rising throughout the day. The south face of Black Rock has the largest waves and strongest currents, while Kahekili is a little smaller. Conditions will become increasingly hazardous as the swell builds. Some clouds and isolated showers are possible this morning, with clearing expected later.

South Shore: 4.0

Beautiful sunny skies and light wind this morning, with rising surf affecting the zone. The Kamaole Beaches have the smallest waves, while Wailea and Makena are more exposed to the swell. Waves will continue building throughout the day, becoming increasingly hazardous in exposed areas. Strong winds are expected this afternoon.
