Great snorkeling conditions this morning in Ka'anapali and the South Shore Zone but the Northwest has extremely hazardous waves, currents, and a high surf advisory.

Northwest: 1.0

High Surf Advisory is in effect for the Northwest zone so please travel to Ka’anapali or South Shore if you are looking to snorkel today. Conditions are expected to be mostly sunny and some isolate showers. Winds are likely to turn strong over the course of the day.

Ka’anapali: 7.0

—> Because of ongoing relief efforts, please be extremely mindful in this zone.

Kahekili Beach Park has calm water and clear visibility. As usual, remain mindful of strong currents in deeper water, farther out from shore. Sunshine is expected and winds are likely to remain favorable for most of the day.

South Shore: 7.5

Conditions are looking really wonderful at most beaches. There are pretty small waves at times but generally calm. The south ends of Kamaole Beaches 1, 2, and 3, Ulua Beach, and Makena Landing are all nice. Clouds may form later, and the winds may pick up but will likely stay calm enough for most of the day.
