Beautiful Maui beach day! Sunshine and lighter winds today! Ka’anapali has the calmest snorkeling conditions and the smallest waves.

Northwest: 7.0

While there are still waves along the points and more open ocean-exposed beaches, Kapalua Bay is calm and clear. Most of Honolua Bay is also really nice & crystal clear. Currents are very strong around the points and outside of the bays. Mostly sunny. Strong winds are expected this afternoon but probably won’t affect the inside of the bays too much.

Ka’anapali: 8.5

—> Because of ongoing relief efforts, please be extremely mindful in this zone.

Kahekili Beach Park has excellent snorkeling conditions with only occasional waves along the shoreline to avoid thoughtfully. The south face of Black Rock is good too, but waves are up a bit & currents are strong near the rock tip and beyond. Sunshine and relatively light winds are expected.

South Shore: 4.0

The waves are not huge but are powerful in areas and are kicking up sand at most beaches. The smallest waves are on the south end of Kamaole Beach #1, and the strongest waves are in the Makena area. Beautiful sunshine and light winds, although the afternoon may get breezy.
