Northwest: 7.5

Winds are already very strong, creating hazardous currents near the points and outside of the bays. Please don’t swim out too far where seas are rough. Inside Honolua Bay, conditions are calm and clear this morning, and the innermost part of Kapalua Bay is also very nice. Mostly sunny skies are expected, with afternoon clouds likely.

Ka'anapali: 8.5

Kahekili Beach has amazing snorkeling conditions this morning. As the winds increase later, seas will probably become too rough. The south face of Black Rock has clear visibility and should offer nice protection from the wind, though currents will become extremely hazardous beyond the point. Mostly sunny skies are expected.

South Shore: 8.5

Absolutely beautiful conditions this morning with small waves and light wind. Strong afternoon winds will likely make the ocean very rough later. All three Kamaole Beaches, Ulua Beach, Wailea Beach, and Makena Landing are all great choices this morning. As usual, currents are strong out in deeper water.

🌊🐢 If you’re looking for a snorkel spot th 🌊🐢 If you’re looking for a snorkel spot that feels like a hidden gem, Kahekili Beach Park is one of our top picks. The reef starts close to shore, the entry is sandy, and it’s often less crowded than some of the bigger beaches. Perfect for spotting colorful fish and—if you’re lucky—a honu (Hawaiian sea turtle) cruising by.

Our deluxe snorkel sets make it easy to explore safely and comfortably—we’ll custom fit you in the shop and share our daily Snorkel Report so you know the best time to go.

📍 Kahekili is just north of Kaʻanapali, with free parking, showers, and restrooms—making it a stress-free spot to spend the day.
